Our role as a payment system operator is to ensure secure and efficient exchange of transactions between payment system participants through a single access and to lead the changes in order to provide new services to our payment community, as well as support the development of solutions according to the requirements of the clients.
Receiving, checking and accepting payment transactions from the participants (clearing exchange)
Determining the net balance through calculation and netting payment transactions from the clearing exchange (clearing calculation)
Settlement of liabilities resulting from the clearing calculation between the participants (settlement)
To manage the liquidity risk of non-settlement, the participants establish a Reserve Guarantee Fund (RGF) which provides funds for
successful settlement.
Participants in the KIBS-Clearing are the payment operations carriers and the special payment operations carriers in accordance with the Law on Payment Operations.
The activities of the KIBS-Clearing are performed every working day in accordance with the working days of the MIPS payment system in denars.
The KIBS-ERTS consists of:
Receipt of information on changes in the transaction accounts registry at the banks
Update of the received data in ERTS
Informing the clients regarding the changes in ERTS
KIBS receives and consolidates the information of the accounts which are maintained in the Treasury General Ledger in the Ministry of Finance and the Treasury General Ledger in the Health Insurance Fund and forwards them to the other participants in the payment system.
The participants in the payment operations can report a newly open account number and change a pre-existing account number through the web service 24x7 online.
Participants in the KIBS-Blockade service are the participants in KIBS-Clearing and KIBS- ERTS, except the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance and the Treasury of the Health Insurance Fund.
KIBS - Clearing
KIBS-Clearing service includes:

KIBS-Blockade
KIBS-Blockade- KIBS AD Skopje consolidates the information for blocking and unblocking of the transaction accounts that are maintained in the registries of the payment operations carriers and forwards them to the other participants.Participants in the KIBS-Blockade service are the participants in KIBS-Clearing and KIBS- ERTS, except the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance and the Treasury of the Health Insurance Fund.
